Baylor vs. Norfolk State

Baylor leads the country in points per possession at home, boasting a highly efficient offense. Norfolk State, however, struggles defensively, ranking 210th in opponents’ three-point shooting percentage and 212th in points allowed per possession. On the road, Norfolk State’s offense ranks 88th in points per possession.

Long Island vs. UMass Lowell

UMass Lowell plays at a fast pace, ranking 53rd nationally in total possessions per game. Both teams have defensive struggles, with UMass Lowell ranking 284th and Long Island 286th in points allowed per possession.

UTEP vs. Louisville

UTEP’s three-point shooting has significantly improved this season, ranking 50th nationally as of Tuesday. The team excels at forcing turnovers, ranking second nationally in turnovers per possession forced on defense. In contrast, Louisville struggles with ball control, ranking 251st in turnovers per possession committed.

Fairleigh Dickinson vs. Villanova

Villanova’s offense is one of the most efficient in the country, ranking 15th in points per possession as of Tuesday. Eric Dixon leads the team, averaging 25.6 points per game, which ranks second among qualifying Division I players. Villanova faces a Fairleigh Dickinson team that ranks 354th in points allowed per possession and 353rd in defensive rebounding percentage, allowing opponents to rebound 36.4% of their missed shots.

Maine vs. Duquesne

Duquesne’s offense has struggled, ranking 287th in points per possession entering Tuesday. Conversely, Maine’s defense has been sharp, ranking 33rd in turnovers forced per possession and 138th in total points allowed per possession.

Colgate vs. Kentucky

While Kentucky’s offense gets much of the attention, its defense is also strong, ranking 35th nationally in points allowed per possession as of Tuesday. Kentucky faces a Colgate team that struggles offensively, ranking 294th in points scored per possession and 328th in possessions per game.

Cal Baptist vs. San Diego State

Cal Baptist has the edge offensively, ranking 90th nationally in points per possession as of Tuesday, while San Diego State ranks 203rd in this metric. Both teams are nearly even in rebounding, with Cal Baptist ranked 172nd in rebound percentage and San Diego State close behind at 181st.
