Florida Atlantic vs. Temple

Florida Atlantic ranks 357th in the country in opponent 3-point shooting at 38.4%, while Temple is making 38.5% of their 3-point shots at home, ranking 49th in the nation. Temple is also one of the best teams in the country at getting to the free-throw line, ranking sixth in made free throws on a per-possession basis.

Michigan’s biggest issue is turnovers, ranking 315th in turnovers per possession committed. Ohio State, however, is only 219th in turnovers per possession generated, which should allow clean possessions for Michigan to use their fifth-ranked 2-point shooting percentage. Michigan is 39th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage at 31%.

St. Peter’s ranks 83rd in points per possession allowed on defense, while Rider is 273rd in this category. Rider is also just 291st in points per possession and 341st in 3-point shooting percentage on offense. St. Peter’s is rebounding 35.8% of their missed shots, which ranks 14th in the nation.

South Dakota vs. South Dakota State

South Dakota plays at a rate that ranks fourth in the country in possessions per game, while South Dakota State is third in the country in defensive rebound percentage, allowing teams to rebound only 21.1% of their missed shots. South Dakota is 295th in 3-point shooting percentage at 31.3%.

Although New Mexico ranks sixth in the nation in total possessions per game, they are playing lower-scoring games behind a defense that ranks ninth in points per possession allowed. Utah State is 31st in points per possession allowed, with opponents shooting 29.7% from 3-point range against them, which ranks 23rd.
