LIV Miami
After three weeks off, LIV Golf returns to action in Miami to play “The Blue Monster” at Doral.
Jon Rahm (6-1) has been the favorite at every LIV event thus far in 2024 and this week is no exception. However, he now has company near the top of the odds board as Joaquin Niemann (7-1) has won two (Mayakoba, Jeddah) of the first four events on the 2024 calendar.
Bryson DeChambeau (10-1) has finished in the top 10 in his last three LIV events.
Dustin Johnson (14-1) won the LIV event held Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas and won at Doral back in 2015. The other former Doral winner in this field is Patrick Reed (46-1), who did so in 2014.
Cameron Smith (15-1) finished runner-up to Abraham Ancer (29-1) in the playoff in Hong Kong three weeks ago along with Paul Casey (30-1).
Last year, Brooks Koepka (16-1) won the LIV event (Orlando) the week before the Masters and ending up finishing runner-up at Augusta after leading the majority of the tournament.
The Course
Doral Golf Club, now known as Trump National Doral, is a par-72 measuring 7,701 yards.
Nicknamed “The Blue Monster,” Doral played host to the Doral Open on the PGA Tour from 1962 to 2006, and from 2007 to 2016 the WGC-Cadillac Championship made its home there after having been played at different venues in the United States and Europe since its inception in 1999.
The course was originally designed in 1962 by Dick Wilson and renovated in 2014 by Gil Hanse and Raymond Floyd.
The fairways are on the narrow side and water is everywhere on this layout.

Bryson DeChambeau (10-1, FanDuel)
The Blue Monster can play up to 7,700 yards. So, this is fairly simple. DeChambeau is the biggest hitter off the tee on LIV Golf and he leads that tour in driving distance (320.6 yards).
However, it is not just distance where DeChambeau has been excelling. He also ranks fifth for Greens In Regulation (74.54%).
Talor Gooch (18-1, SuperBook Sports)
Gooch is not in the Masters field next week and spoke (he is known to run his mouth) about how the Masters should have an asterisk because “all the best players are not there.”
He is in the top 10 on the LIV Tour for Scrambling, Fairways Hit, Birdie Average and Putting Average.
Paul Casey (30-1, FanDuel)
Casey finished runner-up in Hong Kong three weeks ago and was also sixth in Singapore where he had a share of the lead at one time.
Casey leads LIV Golf for Greens In Regulation at 77.31% and is fourth for Fairways Hit at 64.29%.
