Race 1 (12:20 p.m. ET/10:26 p.m. PT — $36K MAIDEN CLAIMING for 4YOs & up going a mile of the turf
Mr. Ed takes a longshot on #6 OSCARWORTHY (12-1 morning line), who cuts back to a mile for trainer Brian Lynch, who retains HOFer Johnny Velasquez in the saddle. If this choice can get up at the wire, he certainly will win an Oscar. Worth a shot.
GULFSTREAM PICK: $10 to Win & Place. ($20)

Race 2 (12:49 p.m ET/9:49 a.m. PT) — $12K MAIDEN CLAIMING for 3YOs  going a mile
Mr. Ed likes #8 GAIN (6-5 morning line) for trainer Bobby Dibona, with Tyler Gaffalione returning to ride. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I like #6 HEY CUE (2-1 mourning line), who gets a major rider upgrade to Tyler Gaffalione for improving trainer Martin Drexler.

Mr. Ed likes three: #6 ATTACK (9-2 morning line) for Canadian trainer Mark Casse. Works indicate sophomore to ready to graduate. I’ll also use #4 I’M OTTER HERE (6-1) and #8 READY FOR PEACE (7-2).

I like #3 FAST MARKET (6-1 morning line) for overdue NY trainer John Terranova.  Solid Joel Rosario returns to the saddle to avenge a loss in the last race.
