After playing a weekend series in the elevation of Colorado, the Phillies will start Bailey Falter against the Giants. Falter has good command with just two walks per nine innings, but he only brings to the mound 6.5 strikeouts per nine innings with a .290 opponents batting average against a Giants lineup that is fourth in the league in home runs.

Cubs vs. Astros Total 7.5. Greg’s Total 8.3.

The Cubs have lost all five of Jameson Taillon’s starts this season with him posting a 6.41 ERA and .280 opponents batting average. He’s backed up by a Cubs lineup that leads the National League in road batting average, but they also have a bullpen that ranks 21st in ERA and is tired after pitching 5 1/3 innings on Sunday.

Royals vs. Padres (-1.5, -105). Greg’s Run Line: Padres -1.5, -121.

Royals starter Brad Keller has issued more walks than he has strikeouts this season as he leads the league with 32 total walks and 7.3 runs per nine innings while averaging only 6.6 strikeouts per nine. Behind Keller is a bullpen that is 27th in ERA, near the bottom of MLB. The Padres are third among National League teams in home ERA with starter Michael Wacha allowing just one run in his last two starts. The Royals are also averaging the third-fewest runs per game away from home with 3.8 per game.
