Jaguars will play two NFL games in London this season

The Jacksonville Jaguars are another year closer to potentially being the London Jaguars, even though they are a team on the rise and should get a lot of love from the fan base in Duval County. The Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence won the AFC South for the first time since 2017 and just the second time since 1999, so hopes are high for another postseason berth. The schedule is much tougher after finishing last in 2021, but this is an improved roster led by a strong coaching staff.

    Jacksonville Jaguars schedule this year

The most notable thing about Jacksonville’s schedule is that the team will spend two weeks in London, playing against the Falcons in Week 4 on October 1 and the Bills in Week 5 on October 8. With this arrangement, they will be the first team to play two overseas games in the same season, but, as we know, they’re an annual participant in the NFL International Series and this year is no different.

Along with the six games in the AFC South, including four against teams with first-round rookie quarterbacks, the Jaguars play the AFC North and NFC South, making this one of the easier schedules and the easiest schedule for a first-place team in the NFL. The division winners outside of the AFC North and NFC South on the schedule are the Bills on the “road” (in London) and the 49ers and Chiefs at home. The Jaguars will play one game at home in Jacksonville from Week 4 until Week 10.
