Conference Championship Prop Bets
Conference Championship prop bets can become more difficult with just two games on the slate. It is a nice twist to have prop lines out early, but we have seen some movement even though we are two days out from the games. When I am looking at props, I look at my total handicap and move forward from there. I like the Under in Chiefs vs. Ravens and the Over in the Lions vs. 49ers, so I am looking for props that would be correlated to those results. Let’s dive into some of my favorite Conference Championship prop bets for the weekend.
Chiefs vs Ravens
We have consistently seen the Chiefs’ defense weaker against the run versus the pass, which plays into the Ravens’ strength. I would be surprised if the Ravens do not come out pounding the football and continue throughout the game. My issue with rushing props here is that you have effectively three players who will be splitting the carries. We have seen Lamar Jackson’s rushing prop consistently steamed up. Last week, it was 52.5. This week, we are currently at 62.5, that is a massive adjustment for a Chiefs defense that is going to be keyed around stopping the quarterback on the ground.
Instead of trying to pick a running option, let’s look at tackle props for the Chiefs. Nick Bolton is going to be pivotal for the Chiefs linebackers to stop the run and his tackle and assists prop is currently sitting at 9.5 with the over +110. He’s gone over that total in the last three games and had 13 against the Bills last week, who attacked the Chiefs in a similar manner.

Lions vs 49ers
Now on to the offensive game! Both of these offenses have advantages on the defense. The 49ers should be able to move the football consistently on the Lions defense. It’s tough to key on a specific player in props on the 49ers’ offense, but it means that the Lions’ offense should be in high gear and possibly chase mode for the majority of the game.
I expect the Lions to lean on a passing game to try to go score for score. If that is the case, then Jahmyr Gibbs would be the greatest beneficiary since he is more of a threat in a passing game. In both playoff games, he has gotten four targets and gone over 40 yards receiving. This week, his prop is set at 21.5 receiving yards. For the Lions to go score for score, they will need Gibbs to make one or two big plays, and getting him into space in the passing game is a great way to make that happen.
