Rematch!
The Chiefs and Eagles will meet again in the Super Bowl, two years after KC’s 38-35 victory in the Big Game.
In 2023, the Eagles closed as -1.5 favorites with a Total of 51.5. This time around, the Eagles opened as consensus +1.5 underdogs vs. the defending Super Bowl champions going for a three-peat. The Total coalesced at 49.5 after opening at 50.5 at DraftKings and 49 at Circa.
VSiN.com managing editor Adam Burke sizes up the opening line in the first of many Super Bowl stories we will publish between now and Feb. 9. As Adam points out, the opening line didn’t change from the lookahead line last week because both teams covered on Sunday with no significant injuries. The Eagles (-6) routed the Commanders 55-23. The Chiefs (-1.5 at DK, a pick’em at Circa) held off the Bills 32-29.
