The Jets opened as (-230) home favorite, and the money keeps coming in on the Jets, who are now a (-250) home favorite. The Flames went into Winnipeg eight days ago and knocked off the Jets 3-1. That game had Dustin Wolf in goal for Calgary and Eric Comrie for the Jets. Different matchup in goal tonight as it will be Dan Vladar for Calgary and Connor Hellebuyck for the Jets.
Vladar has lost his last five starts (0-4-1), and the Flames are also on the back end of a back-to-back (1-4 in this spot) have scored two goals or less in all four of the losses. The Jets have held the opposition to less than three goals in their last 10 wins.
I am going to tread lightly on this game and have just two plays.

If it’s a Blackhawks game, betting on the first period Over 1.5 goes without saying. Chicago is on a 14-1 run to the first period, going Over the total. The goal in first 10-minute prop has also been profitable, going 10-1 in the last 11 games.
I am staying away from player props in this game, as nothing stands out for me.

With Sergei Bobrovsky playing last night in San Jose, I would expect Spencer Knight to get the start between the pipes tonight for Florida. The last five starts for Knight have seen the first period end 0-0. This is also the back end of a back-to-back for the Panthers, and five of their seven games in this spot have ended 0-0.
My other play in this game is Pavel Dorofeyev over 2.5 shots on goal. Dorofeyev has cashed this prop in nine of his last 12 games. He has had at least four shots on goal in five of his last seven games.
