Tennis best bets for Rolex Paris Masters & WTA Finals – Thursday, November 2

There isn’t much time left in the 2023 tennis season, but this is a week full of high-level action. The men are in Paris for the Rolex Paris Masters, which is the final 1000-level event of the season. This is as big of a tournament as there is outside of the four Grand Slams, and the stakes are high with some of these players hoping to book a spot in the ATP Finals. Meanwhile, the women are already into the WTA Finals. The top eight players on the women’s side are already in Cancun to compete for the final big trophy of the year. With that in mind, I’m here to give you some daily tennis best bets. Keep reading for my picks for Thursday, November 2.

    Roman Safiullin vs. Karen Khachanov

Khachanov beat Safiullin 6-4, 6-4 in Vienna last week, but I still like the underdog to make this a battle. Safiullin is coming off a massive 6-3, 6-4 win over Carlos Alcaraz the other day, so he’s going to be brimming with confidence here. Safiullin is a guy with serious weapons on the tennis court, as he has some massive strokes from the baseline. So, when he’s feeling confident, he’s very hard to beat. Of course, Khachanov is playing some great tennis right now, too. That’s ultimately why I’m not backing Safiullin to win this thing outright. But I’d be surprised if this isn’t a match in which both players win a set, or one in which we see a tiebreaker or two. So, I’m playing the Over here. And I’d definitely advise watching this one.

    Bet: Over 23.5 Games (+100)

    Maria Sakkari vs. Jessica Pegula

Pegula has been remarkable in Cancun thus far, beating Elena Rybakina and Aryna Sabalenka to book her spot in the semifinals. However, with Pegula having already clinched a spot in the semis, I’m not exactly sure she’ll be locked in against Sakkari. Now, it should be noted that Sakkari will also be playing for nothing, as she’s eliminated at this point in the event. But I do think she’ll want to compete her tail off in her final match, as she’s a player that has a lot of pride. And Sakkari and Pegula have already played three times this season, with the Greek star winning at least one set in two of those matches. That said, we know Sakkari has what it takes to win a set off the American. So, I’m playing her to do so at what I believe to be favorable odds.

    Bet: Sakkari +1.5 Sets (-145 – 2 units)

    Added Plays

Tallon Griekspoor Over 7.5 Games Won (-115) vs. Novak Djokovic

    2023 Overall Record: 303-276 (+55.96 units)
