NFL Week 18: Bettor beware
Zach Cohen summed up my feelings in this piece on NFL Week 18:
You won’t find many people that genuinely love betting on the final week of the NFL season. It’s hard to figure out which teams are resting their starters and how much each team will care about each game. That makes it very difficult to handicap how the week will go. And in some cases, even having the information isn’t enough. However, we know there’s a good chance people will be betting on Week 18 of the NFL season anyway. So, we’re going to do what we can to help.
And so Zach tries to help by running through the motivating factors of each Week 18 game, from the Vikings-Lions NFC North title showdown to the meaningless 49ers-Cardinals matchup.
