WNBA Best Bets:
The curse is over! I actually won a WNBA best bet at a game I was attending, as the Aces and Mystics pushed the total over 169.5 in the final minute of the game on Thursday night to secure a 2-0 betting night for us in what was my last night visiting Las Vegas.

I gave Friday’s projections out yesterday, so sticking with the theme of working ahead, here are the Saturday and Sunday projections for the WNBA (note: only one game has odds currently listed).
SATURDAY
Indiana Fever vs. New York Liberty
This game will certainly generate big ratings as Caitlin Clark and the Fever take on Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, Jonquel Jones, and the Liberty in Indiana. The Liberty are currently 8-point road favorites with an Over/Under of 168.5. TSI projects New York -9.5 with a total of 176, so I feel really good about this Over.
WNBA Best Bet: Over 168.5 (Play to 170)
Minnesota Lynx vs. Washington Mystics
Fresh off getting beat down by the Aces, the Mystics will take on the Lynx, who are also coming off a loss to the Connecticut Sun. TSI projects Minnesota -7.5 with a total of 163.
SUNDAY
Connecticut Sun vs. Atlanta Dream
TSI projects Connecticut -8 with a total of 145.5. I would anticipate seeing some value on the under when this line comes out.
Las Vegas Aces vs. Dallas Wings
TSI projects Vegas -18 with a total of 178. I’d be surprised if this total opens high enough, so there’s probably a play on the over to be had.
Seattle Storm vs. Chicago Sky
TSI projects Seattle -7.5 with a total of 162.5. I’ll be curious where this opens, but I don’t have a strong sense of where it will open, so stay tuned on X for potential plays here.
Los Angeles Sparks vs. Phoenix Mercury
TSI projects Phoenix -5 with a total of 169. My guess is that there will be value on LA here, but we’ll wait and see.
